Erectile dysfunction medicines seized in Glengormley

Large amounts of unlicensed medicines have been seized by Department of throughout a search of a house in Glengormley.
A male was interviewed by department officers about illegally importing and consequently supplying unlicensed impotence medications through the internet.
The 47-year-old was likewise questioned about other medicine offenses.
He will now be the subject of a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
The search was performed by the department's Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, stated: "It is essential that we get the message across that unlicensed medications can be unsafe.
"These kinds of items being offered, typically online, have gone through no quality assurance and there can be no guarantee about their security.
"You merely do not know what you are taking or the conditions these items were made in. More notably, you do not understand the result drugs like this may have on your health."
